Today I finished watching one of my soaps, the ending was more a real-life ending than anything else. "Everyone just kinda drifted apart", just how things end up in real life. Well, except for the family "finding" 50 million usd. But that wasn't really addressed in the ending: ending focused on the drifting apart aspect.
Figured going out would make me feel better. That's what everone always says. So allowed myself to be taken to Mc. Donalds on Monday, I got a kids meal. It reminded me of times when I was growing up in Arizona and I'd get taken to get a kids meal. About the same time the original pokemon came out. Those where "the good 'ol days". I remember trying to collect the little pokemon toys then, I got a shrek toy this time but I gave it away.
A spanish speaking kid kept talking to me and as soon as I told her I didn't speak Spanish she started talking even more. I could pick out words she was saying but couldn't really get a grasp of the entire conversation. At one point she asked me if I had X I didn't know what she said and asked the others in the car, turns out she asked me if I had any hambergers....as if I just keep them in my pockets where ever I go. In her defense I had just gotten in the car nigh two minutes ago and she had been led to believe I was going to provide her with them. She's like.....two to four.
Also held a baby, again, and again I didn't know WTF I was doing so I sat it on the table and gave it my keys to play with. The keys went promptly into his mouth....

Sigma 18-200mm
This lense is an econo-lense (cheap and only mildly efective) so I'm not dissapointed with its performance I am dissapointed with my decision to purchase it.
I took a lot of pictures today and only a few came out. I should have taken my tripod with me, next time I will.
Going to the park by yourself is very lonely once you notice all of the couples there....

Meh
Fuck that shit, that is hard. You're on your own. I've started making flash cards though.
I only know one of those stacks. The other two I just recently wrote down.
Anyway, I've been going outside a bit more often. I've got pictures to prove it.
Near where I live are the Sandia Mountains. I was at the...base..I guess. I was up there after getting my hair done and realizing that my camera was in the car. I wish I had my zoom lense with me but eh...I didn't have good shoes on or water so I didn't go far.

Some rocks...

a sun set, this is my favorite but not my most viewed.

This is the most viewed of my sunset pictures. I want to take more sunset pictures.

I took it with my 50mm prime.
This is my most viewed picture, at about 86 views (internet superstar)

Anyway, I'll try to update more regularly.

I'm going to make mixed fish stew tomorrow.
So I've been trying to carefully work with my site today. One of the hard things is keeping project scope. This was mentioned somewhat in "The Pragmatic Programmer" Don't go adding all kinds of stuff that wasn't in the original idea mid way through the project. That just makes things more complicated and drawn out.
I also took to actively trying to apply Occam's Razor to my project. if it is too complicated then it isn't right. I've almost got the writer for the gallery done, I just need to build the case-switch tree that handles the index page; that'll decide which objects to instantiate. I like case switch trees more than if else trees. I also learned about implode today I imploded all kinds of things today just 'cuz. That is how I roll. I only managed to use it maybe twice though.
One problem with Geany is that when you are doing things you aren't supposed to be doing like working over FTP it has a bit of lag in the commands. I'm starting to like Geany more and more and dislike Rhythmbox more and more. I found that those little numbers in the brackets are the line number for the corresponding symbol

For some reason I think the construct was a bad idea. Donno why though, I guess we'll find out eventually.....
Coding is really pleasant. You get to make something, like Legos. it is even better when in a comfortable environment.
I think I'm going to cut back updating to the Friday of every week rather than everyday. Not like I got a whole lot to say anyway.
Feeling really down right now, need some chocolate and a hug. ( ó Ոò)

床に会う(?)
So I went out with the intent of taking pictures of the skyline at night from near the mountains and whatever. Instead I drove around for about an hour in some residential area at night. I also managed to pull into a police station parking lot; "Oh shit, this is not where I want to be" Is the only thing I've said out loud today. I should have stayed inside and did blender. I think I'm going to take the whole "Go outside" thing off my list. I don't need to go outside anyway, plenty to do about the house....After getting un-lost I got chastised on the phone on the phone for calling Floor fat. Then for a bit longer for calling 'er robust.. People these days.
Yesterday I went to get burger king, since it had been about 5 years since I had any, and when I woke up I felt horrible. I felt exactly as it smelled....
Today was my first day working from home. It was lonely but I think I can get use to that real fast once I actually have a task list. I didn't have loneliness problems during my vacation. I guess I just need to get use to working from the house.

Horrible out there
So I went out today, it was horrible. When I wanted to go out all 3 of people I would go somewhere with said they couldn't go for various reasons.....I need more than just three. So it was crowded out today, I didn't even know that many people lived in this town. However it is shopping season so I guess that is to be expected. I did get a few new things and I went back on my “No more fast food diet” and got a BBBLT (Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato)....It is the cheap bacon so you have to use more than you normally would.
And so I got a santoku, I haven't named it yet. What do you think I should name it?

I also got a bunch of books
I ~try~ not to buy the same book on any one subject in hopes that some of them will have different views and explanations on their subject. This helps me put together an understanding on the topic and I guess it is just good for diversity.
I was thinking of doing a tutorial on how to do a thing or two because explaining a subject helps you master it even more. But my voice doesn't do well on microphones and I don't have a very high quality one.
So I'm not a good driver and I figure next time I go any where and I don't have to be anywhere quickly I'll just ride the bus. That'll save me gas, get a bad driver off the road, and it'll be good exercise. However I don't plan on going anywhere else for a very -LONG- time.

Water glass ice stuff
I went outside today, it has been a while so it seemed like a new experience. I went to the store to get some milk, ended up getting all kinds of candy and milk. There is really only so much you can do without candy. Candy is a necessity. So is chips 'n dip, so says certain foreigners. Candy and mushrooms. Didn't manage to get any milk. I donno how that happened.
I woke up today at around 6 to 6:30ish to an empty house...Alone, nothing new there. I tried to work on my little project but, for now it is far above my skill level. I'll have to put it on hold. I can do something similar to this:
this:
But mine looks really....generic. I need to figure out how to get away from that.
You'd think the mechanical part would be the hard part. But the hard part is getting partials to go in a direction I want them to in a manor I want them to. And to have something explode and not have gravity effect the resulting matter.
What makes a machine good at rendering? Does it need to be all around strong. Will upgrading the processor or ram make it better? Sometimes when I render my little bars, those that tell me how stressed the machine is, sometimes indicate high ram usage sometimes high processor sometimes both. I don't really know what I'm talking about....( ó ωò)
I had a relapse today I wanted to try out that new thing they have “Fields of Valor” or some such jazz. You visit an object (a floating book) which gives you a training regime, which is pretty much just a hit list, you go out and waist those fools and get exp, I think it is EXP in addition to the EXP you get for the kills. I went out on level 75 samurai Tachi: Kasha'ing lvl 1 mobs (800~900 damage to something that has like...20hp). Turns out you have to actually gain EXP for it to count as a kill. “They're all gray to me”.
Having a blog is nice when you blog at the end of the day. That way it makes you feel like there is a bit of urgency to complete things. Or produce something to put on display. Keep you busy. Helps kill the 4 hours of extended mouse clicking. Maybe it'll make me a better writer too.
Meh.
I wish this thing would render quicker, it has been rendering for the past 30 minutes and is only on the 38th frame, 38 of 250. _/>o
